David the Footballer
David never really left football behind. He still played on a semi -professional basis starting at Dagenham and Redbridge, moving to Purfleet (now known as Thurrock) then on to Canvey Concorde Rangers and on to Billericay where he more or less hung up his boots so to speak, as at this stage he was offered a position of assistant manager with his former Manager, Colin McBride from Canvey Concorde Rangers, who had moved to Purfleet Football Club.
